There in Arcanum, a big bustling city which mixed magic with the new discoveries of technology, was proud inventor Magg standing up in his workshop. Fresh from his work in making a device which would receive the energy from the stars, he readied up his final touches to see that everything came together-the hum filled up the entire room, and a shining light from within, gave out a glowing light emanating from his newly hatched device. Kael knew that this invention would change the world and bridge the gap between realms and bring endless possibilities to the people of Arcanum.
